How it works

In order to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible, I’ve created an easy step-by-step guide. This way there will be no confusion about how I work and what you can expect from me. I’m all about efficiency and open communication, so whether we communicate via e-mail, phone or face-to-face meeting, I aim to provide a seamless and positive experience.

Step 1 – Let’s talk about it

In order to quote, I require information on your brand and what you’d like to achieve. Do you need new website copy? Are you launching a new product? The more information I get will allow me to accurately quote the cost of the projects as well as create a realistic timeline (agreed upon by both parties).

Step 2 – The admin side of things

Once a quote has been approved, I require a 50% deposit for jobs over $500. For any jobs below $500 payment is required in full.

Step 3 – Down to the details

I’ll ask you several questions that will assist me in getting to know your brand and be able to do the best job possible. It really helps the whole process if you’re able to take the time to answer with as much detail as possible. To do a job you’ll rave about, I need to know all about your business and your customers/clients. So I’ll ask you:

  • What’s so special about what you do – i.e. what are the benefits of your service?
  • What makes you different/better than similar service providers?
  • Who are your competitors?
  • What’s your brand personality?
  • Who’s your target audience? What do they need and want?
  • Why should they trust you?
  • What’s your call to action – i.e. what do you want your visitors to do next?
  • Does your content need to be optimised for SEO?

Step 4 – Let the fun begin!

Now that I have everything from you, I’ll start work on the project and have it completed by the agreed upon deadline. All files are delivered in Microsoft Word format and will allow you to add your own comments and amendements. You have five business days to send me feedback, otherwise the final deadline of your project may be at risk.

Step 5 – Getting it right

One you have sent me your revisions and amendments I will update the files accordingly. A standard quote includes 2 rounds of minor changes, so please make sure you accumulate your feedback and communicate it as clearly as possible.

Step 6 – Invoicing and payments

Invoices are payable within 7 days. Online bank transfer is my preferred method of payment.

Step 7 – Spread the love

One more step until the finish line! If you could take a minute to write me a quick testimonial about how you find my work and the process of working with me, it would be greatly appreciated. As a small business owner, every bit of feedback counts and it would be amazing if you could help me grow my business.
